You will become a member of MAN by:
1. Being a bonafide manufacturer and that has a factory location.
2. You will need to purchase a membership application form.
3. You will fill the application form and return it with CAC Form C02 and C07, A duly certified audited account for an existing company that want to become a member or a business plan for a startup company and a teller/receipt of payment of entry fees and annual subscription which is based on turnover.

The document will be acknowledged by the Secretariat and a copy will be forwarded to the branch where the company is located and the CEO of the prospective member company. After which, an inspection will be carried out by the branch to authenticate claims on the form. A feedback will be sent to the Secretariat. Based on the feedback from the branch, a recommendation for admission or rejection will be made to the National Council. The National Council, at one of her Council Meeting, will admit or reject such intending member.

This depends on the time of purchase, completion and return of membership application form. If the application form is purchased, completed and returned at a time close to the National Council Meeting, it may be faster. This is because, admission process must pass through the National Council. Please note that the National Council meets statutorily four (4) time in a fiscal year.

The main benefit of being a member of MAN is to give an identity to the manufacturer.
It provide a veritable platform for members to influence programs and policies of the government.
It provides a platform for manufacturers in similar manufacturing line to share ideas, challenges, and way forward in friendly and frank manner.
The association endeavor that circulars, policies, and guideline from government agencies are disseminated to MAN members.
The Association advocate for payment lower fees for services provided by agencies of the government in other to reduce cost of doing business and to ensure that members operate profitably.
The Association provides business advisory services and trainings to MAN members.
The Association provide information to potential foreign investors who may want to partner with members of MAN.

The cost of registration varies according to the size and the turnover level of the company.

Yes. This is because subscription is paid yearly and it falls due at the 1st of January every year.

The duration of one subscription is one year, and it elapses on the 31st December every year.

Completing a registration process, once opened, will take four (4) months max.

The requirements for change of name are:
1. Submit Change of name Certificate as issued by Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
2. A Bank Payment Teller in the sum of fifty thousand naira only (N50,000.00) in favour of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria for re-issuance of Membership Certificate.
These two documents will be forwarded to the association with a covering letter.

The company will do a letter withdrawing the current representative and introduce the new representative.

Replacing MAN Membership Cerficate requires the following:
1. A sworn affidavit from a Court of competence jurisdiction supporting the loss of the Certificate
2. Bank Payment Teller in the sum of fifty thousand naira (N50,000.00) in favour of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria for re-issuance of Membership Certificate.
These two documents will be forwarded to the association with a covering letter.

Member certificate of MAN is valid for three (3) years.

Any member wishing to resign its membership of the Association may only do so by giving at least three months notice in writing of its intention to resign. Any member resigning shall return the certicate of membership and pay all subscriptions due from it and shall cease as from the end of the period of it notice.

The reissuance may be delayed as result of non-compliance of the reissuance criteria which are:
1. Completed membership re-issuance form,
2. Return of the original MAN Membership Certificate issued to your company on admission,
3. Payment of all outstanding subscription(s),
4. Submission of Audited Financial Statement of the company.
