Vision
To be the key driver for industrialization, sustainable economic growth, and development in Nigeria.
The Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) was established in May 1971 to provide a common voice for manufacturers and a focal point of consultation between industry, government, and the public.
Established in May 1971, the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria provides a disciplined platform for advocacy, consultation, research, and practical support for manufacturers across the country.
MAN was formed as a company limited by guarantee to give practical meaning to the interests, problems, and aspirations of manufacturers. Before its establishment, there was no institutional organ whose central focus was to represent the manufacturing sector in a structured and consistent manner.
The Association creates a climate of opinion in which manufacturers can operate efficiently and profitably for the benefit of workers, suppliers, customers, communities, and the national economy. Its positions are shaped by research, consultation, and the collective experience of member companies.
MAN connects factory-floor realities with public policy decisions that affect production, investment, jobs, and competitiveness.
To be the key driver for industrialization, sustainable economic growth, and development in Nigeria.
To promote manufacturers' interests through advocacy, partnership, research, and effective engagement with public and private sector actors.
To improve competitiveness, deepen local value chains, create jobs, and strengthen the contribution of manufacturing to GDP.
