Branch Representation
Council includes leaders from branch structures such as Apapa, Ogun, Rivers, Abuja, Ikeja, Kano, Kaduna, Edo/Delta, and others.
The Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) was established in May 1971 to provide a common voice for manufacturers and a focal point of consultation between industry, government, and the public.
The National Council is a body of experienced manufacturers and professionals elected by members to conduct the affairs of the Association in line with MAN's constitution.
In directing MAN's affairs and determining policy options, the National Council is served by an Executive Committee and standing committees covering economic policy, corporate affairs and strategic planning, small and medium industry, infrastructure, finance, and establishment matters.
The Director-General serves as Secretary to Council, supporting the translation of Council decisions into advocacy, member service, research, administration, and stakeholder engagement.
Council includes leaders from branch structures such as Apapa, Ogun, Rivers, Abuja, Ikeja, Kano, Kaduna, Edo/Delta, and others.
Sectoral chairmen represent product groups including food and beverages, chemicals, plastics, basic metal, textiles, pulp and paper, and more.
Standing committees provide specialist input into economic policy, finance, corporate affairs, SMI, and infrastructure priorities.
Through Council, MAN converts the experience of manufacturers into coordinated advocacy, member services, and institutional action.
